Ok so the square ones had an engine damper ? Someone said that they could buy the round mm for around 50$ Where the hell did this come from? I have been looking and cant seem to locate new motor mounts anywhere ( for a reasonable price like 50$) Any help would be a step forward!

Yes definite on the Leak down test (you know where you fill the cylinders with compressed air) Or do the coolant pressure test with all plugs removed on a cold engine. Thats how I found mine! Coolant spewing out the plug holes!!!!

well as far as engine paint goes theres the Duplicolor rattle can. looks good on mine but it hasnt been WEAR tested yet. Only a few miles on it . Ive heard good and bad BUT it always boils down to surface prep. Love your work so far Keep it up!

I dont believe the rings should be custom. You may be driving up costs for future rebuilds,or the first rebuild like me. If the skirts are close to stock and they're coated , im in for a set as well. there is a good market for (better than stock)(not quite race) pistons!
