I do the ARP Rod bolts and Mains this way as there's no way I'm pulling the motor to do a retorque but have never done it with head studs.
Ummm up there in my last post I said you need to retorque only if you have "new" hardware so if you've done a trial assembly and backed the nuts right out I guess this would be considered used hardware.
Scenario 1: Brand new stud kit, install torue to spec then after some heat cycles...
I retorqued mine after 1000 km's and found a few not as tight as the rest.
Going by Cometic's info if new hardware has been used it should be checked after a few heat cycles, I've always done this out of paranoia but it was good to see it in writing.
I think a lot of the misunderstanding in this thread is coming from the PSI issue with wider tires, NO not the air PSI inside them but the PSI between the tire and the road surface. (Think tracked vehicle like a tank that can move on sand it comes down to PSI on the surface)
