The official 'I hate christmas' thread...

Back in the early 90's I had a serious Car accident and came out of a Coma 2 days before Christmas, I used to hate Christmas but now look at each one I see as a bonus! It's all a matter of perspective Bella, this is life it isn't a practice run and if you wait for things to be "better" it'll...

    Mig Welder : What Type?

The "Free" Helmets really aren't worth it Jake ;) (I value my eyesight much more than that) You'll want a minimum of an AC/DC machine if you're thinking of welding Aluminium and a bonus is a HiFrequency unit that gives you spark ignition, this isn't 100% needed but is nice to have as it...

    Mig Welder : What Type?

Mig for aluminium will give you less than brilliant results Roy. Tig is far superior. Helmet is a gimmick I use a SpeedGlass 9000 it has a much larger view port.

JT2MA71's Build. Dyno video on post # 1191

Ron: Not sure with the latest crop of pumps but the older types are noisy as hell on the suction side and this is amplified by the tank...... Not sure what chassis the new motor is going into but there's not a lot of alternatives for mounting one that would be outside the passenger compartment!

Venom 550 injectors did I get screwed!!!??

Good move Chris! I lost a motor on the dyno to a lazy injector recently, no probs if they just stop working but when they do the funky flow thing it acts as a cutting torch in there! :(

    Engine Rebuild Plans

Cometic's are a good idea as they're less fussy about surface finish! Did you mean the pistons are Cryo Aluminium? (you wrote steel so I'm a little confused)

    It's back... finally

ummmm I seriously doubt it Ken ;)! I almost jumped into the Group A replica Pan thread to ask for the poll choice "No thanks I have the real thing" to be added but decided it just wouldn't be worth the hassle!
