43 here and can be quite childish at times ;)
I try to help out as much as I can as there is a whole generation of "Bobby Bolt on's" that can spec a 1000hp monster but don't have any concept of the basics. (I see this first hand with my nephew and his mates)
Figgie it's NOT One J ;) <jk>
There aren't that many factorys making Filters these days so most are just rebranded/painted for each "supplier".
Even a cheap filter can be fine if it's replaced frequently (2 filters per Oil change, say one at 1000 miles the 2nd at 2000 then a full change at 3000)
Filters are cheap...
The design of course!
The plain Jane Malpassi's use a flat flap valve and have issues at high flow/boost settings so after about 450 hp you'd be better with something else as always any shortcuts in the fuel system WILL kill a 7M stone dead in seconds.
Figgie: LOL what I meant is it's a PITA as you not only have to remove the Nuts and Washers but then the Studs as well if you're doing it in the car!
(1 extra step so the Bolts win)
With my car if somethings wrong and I need to pull the head the motor's coming out anyway so I went Studs. :)
