    Diesel trucks

Why? For the sleeper effect. You wouldn't be shocked to be beaten by a porsche, perhaps. But a pickup with a ball hitch? It's just not as expected. I get it. All the same, I'll stick with my Supra.

8an oil pump feed mod question

Is it possible that the rotating assembly busted it loose? I have the ARZ hardline kit as well, because i really didnt want to rely on a flexible hose submerged under 200 degree oil.

    First Supra a few questions

Um. I think the knock is supposed to disappear when you pull the spark plug wire to the affected cylinder.

Um, yes. I plan on putting the timing plate on before the head. I uh, also plan on taking the tranny out before swapping the clutch... :) As for the bov placement, you are totally correct. The bov is before the maf. In suckthru mode though, you'll have stalling issues when going off-boost...

Best rim color for dark blue

I never thought i'd say this, but a gold/ bronze looks best on a midnight blue car.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

The promo codes are available to us common folk, no secrets. Its always at the top of the home page. I mis-spoke when i said Autozone, it was advance. Last month, the special was free shipping, 25% off orders over $100, AND a $50 gift card. This month, it looks like 15% off the entire order...

Nah, I got it from Autozone, actually. Often time with autozone, you can get silly-big discounts from promo codes. When I returned the core to a local store, the guy had to check his math 3 times, because my core refund was larger than the cost of the part. :)

New(ish) MKIII owner (possibly over excited) Help wit build

Hey man- My build is going very slowly. I am making progress with the motor, though. It'll be quite awhile till it's on the road, though. After I get the engine and tranny done, I have to completely redo the interior, sound system, a/c system, and then the body. Prolly won't be finished till...

main bearing problem!! never seen this before

If you mean that- once the bearing is installed, you have a slight bit of exposed main saddle on either side, I think that's normal. Here's my bearings(Clevites), and if you look closely, you'll see that there's about 1mm on either side.

CT26 with lines and ALL new gaskets, composite HG, 3000 pipe, oem flywheel, front drilled rotors, stainless brake lines, non-cracked ex. manifold, and eventually, a head and full shortblock with probe pistons. But i'm not willing to ship all this stuff, so it's just posted locally on C.L.
