    Built 7mgte discovery!

If you have a built engine(which, at 9:1 is already higher comp than stock), why not fix the bearing issue, and spend the real money on better components elsewhere, like fuel and induction upgrades? These will be the more important bottlenecks.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I get half of what youre saying. The original 12v feed is powering a relay, so that the stepup box gets input straight from the battery?? Maybe you'll get bored and post a diagram?

duel ignitor getting hot help please

Ok, so you solved the 15psi limit, and got to 16psi... are you saying that 16psi is the new limit, or can you go higher? And you're saying that your cps wiring was the main issue?

    Previa brake calipers

That just means that the Previa's bleeder's are a longer length. You can buy speed bleeders in multiple lengths, if you need them...

Old guy with a great old ride--but you knew that part!

The wheels came out very nice. Sorry that you couldn't find a 17" option that you liked, as I think 17's are the proper size for the MkIII if you're looking for modern yet understated. I know there was someone who had custom 'rebarreled' sawblades made that gave them increased width, but I don't...

BosoMKII's project! 56k cut your head off

Spray the filter with starting fluid. If it starts, it's probably the ecu signal to the fuel pump relay.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

WHAT? Are you in the GA Supra owners page on FB? I live in Lawrenceville. We've been trying to set up 'repair meets', where- instead of having a meet to look at the Suras that DO run, we can get together at someone's house, and work on one that doesn't. That way, the running supras come to the...

It will still be awhile. While the engine seems to run pretty well(a slight hesitation on hard throttle jabs), I have a lot of bodywork to do. Maybe it's time for a gameplan update: The initial plan was, to do the interior as stage 3, but I have decided to get into the bodywork instead. The...

It's referred to as "light smoke" tint, 90% light transmission. It was only like a $12 total investment, so no harm done, if it didn't work. People say that if you use nightshade, you have to spray clearcoat over it. I didn't want to deal with that. The professional method is to have someone...

    My targa-friendly sub box

I wasn't sure what I wanted to put on the bottom. I was considering bonding a ribbed rubber mat to the underside, to eliminate sliding. The cover is a dark grey 'sub box' carpet. Really cheap stuff, but it looks ok.

Cheaper alternative to Toyota's expensive spherical bushings

Yeah, I paid about $100 for a pair of Supra bushings. Great info.

Hey Drogon- I used a vinyl film, rather than painting them. I want to be able to "untint" them later, if I changed my mind. The vinyl I a bit hard to work with, simply because you can get bubbles underneath it, and it's a hassle to work them out. But they came out ok. All you need to do it, is a...
