    Guess it all depends on what frequency range the ECU hears as "knock" as the KS hears everything but the Rod Knock may be outside this.

    Still wouldn't cause what you describe. It would be horribly out of balance and scream it's brains out when it tried to spool. I'm with Allan check the Gate.

    B2D: This sucks as if you're hammering it as you go by it there isn't a car on the road that will pass! I got nailed this way for noise way back after passing a road side tester at 7000+ with an exhaust that was legal!

    LOL dunno about smarter! Just read through the AVCR Manual and it doesn't say if it's an eprom unit or not so would be nice if anyone that has one can jump in here!

    Ok just did a quick search and yes it does do Boost Control but if you're only going to use it as a boost controller it's a bit of a waste!

    SH: Ummm 2 totally different products! ;) AVCR controls boost MaftPro Translates the Hot wire or Speed density signal into something the stock ECU can understand ;) (I'm sure it does more but I'm standalone so have just glossed over it)
