    Might have punched a hole in a piston it's all guesswork at this stage. Dunno guess it depends on how long it was driven after it let go and whether a ring has gouged into the bore.

    Anyone ever notice the trend here that failures happen in clumps? This Month seems to be Detonation damage and in the past we've had Cooling system Month and Clutch Month, BHG Month and so on! Just an observation!

    Depends on how much the block and head have had machined off them Porter! Doen't take much to bump our motors to 185 with GE pistons. I'm still betting it's broken a piston and could very well have blown the head gasket between 3>4 as an after effect! I had an injector lean out on the dyno it...
