Quick Q: Are you seeing any IGN event in the ECU software on cranking?
(sorry if this has been answered already but I don't have time to review the entire thread)
My advice: Start very conservative buy a set of electronic ears and use them while road tuning.
There are far too many variables to use so and so's map on another car.
Jag: The current thinking is that more gap on #2 allows any gas that leaks by #1 to escape and not build a gas cushion between the rings that might flutter #1 and unseat it.
Jag: It's just many years of experience doing this I stopped making basic mistakes years/decades ago.
The 7M has a few oddball traits and it's just been a matter of learning what it wants/likes when pushed to it's limits, a lot of this isn't required for low hp builds but is just good...
