Do a search and check out Reg Reimer's data on the stock headbolts and show me where they're sub...
Missing threads are usually errosion due to incorrect coolant or just plain water...... I repeat there's NOTHING wrong with the bolts.
(you're meant to replace em)
LOL I have a pretty well equipped machine shop here at home and had them in the Lathe between centers and indicated em both ;)
(as i said my guys are pretty damn good at this sort of thing but I leave nothing to chance)
Speaking of which time to head out for another fun filled day at the CNC!!
Well after I decided the T56 was too much butchery to make fit no one seemed interested in a TKO adaptor so I didn't bother with CNC files and did it freehand ;)

The company that did the work for me have been doing Cams since Noah needed more lift to get the Ark up on plane ;)
I'm sure they moved around a LOT but they insure they're 100% straight after being stress relieved following...

there is NOTHING wrong with the stock headbolts NOTHING......
They cop a bum rap due to the incorrect torque setting specified for the Older style HG nothing more!
How often do you hear of a stock Main Cap bolt giving trouble...

Hott: Time to strip it all out and start again from scratch, you've missed something.
On average there are 400 odd connections/steps in fitting a standalone missing ANY single one will stop things dead ;)
