Broke off my flywheel bolts 7M torque FTW!

Just never had a slipping clutch that would hookup again during a pull, I can understand the scenario Nates talking about just never experienced it. Usually once a clutch is slipping it's pretty well done. (I doubt the shockload would be any greater than a solid clutch during a hard shift)

Broke off my flywheel bolts 7M torque FTW!

Nate: Hmmm sort of backwards there I'd be more inclined to think the slipping clutch would have been saving it as at Tq peak you wouldn't have a solid lockup..

    Valve Removal Tool

Same same! Collets/Locks/Keepers You need a Spring Compressor (it's the opposite of removal) :)

    Valve Removal Tool

To remove the valve locks? I use a deep socket (plug socket) with a piece of rag loose over the valve cap then give the socket a hit with a hammer, the rag stops the collets/locks from going ballistic then you just repeat 23 more times and they're all out :)

    ARP Head Studs

Roy: Be sure to chase all the threads with a tap then screw the studs in finger tight only. There will be some exposed threads but this depends on Late or Early block just how many.
