Do you have a local machine shop? Take it there and have em install the springs as they have the correct gear and it'll only take em 20 minutes so shouldn't cost much.

Jon: He's using an aftermarket Sender with 1/8npt.

Never used or even seen one before... I'd be wary as in a 7M 1 slip and the head is scrap if you gouge up a lifter bore.

Chuck a MM on the leads and see what they're at. Are you running wire seperators for the length?
