    GTE Cams botled to a GTE with a CT26 will give you much more power than any set of NA cams on their own ;) There is little aftermarket gear for the NA motor so hp per $ is a joke sorry.

    Most ICS are pwm based solenoids the Toyota one is a 6 wire stepper so is very accurate when working correctly, I've used both types on 7M's and would prefer the Stepper by far even if it means dropping some extra cash getting it working correctly.

    I remember waaaaaaaaaayyy back some students built a 928 Porsche as a design exercise with a Golf Body shell that they widened and it was actually faster than the stock 928 as it had better drag figures ;)
