    anyone have experince with this clutch?

    All depends on driving habits.... A Mk3 being a heavy car will punish the clutch if you abuse it, better to over rate it now than have to pull the trans to replace a slipping clutch a few weeks after it's installed.

    Colin: Sorry any pad will gas when pushed to extremes. Slots have become a fashion accessory and in normal driving I agree pads shouldn't gas. As for "biting in" ??? How does that work?

    I seriously doubt it makes much difference either way the slots are to vent gasses released under braking so the Pad can contact the rotor.
