    Sustained 8000+ rpm ;) I now have just about all of my engine parts Cryo treated and things looked good on this tear down. Ferrea say their springs are good to 10K....... (maybe in 10 second bursts)

    If they're slightly larger in diameter they can rub the inside of the buckets and make more noise. My major concern would be if you break one it's all over for that motor duals will save the motor in that scenario (ask how I know this)

    If I were doing this as a stopgap thing I'd leave the GTE electronics in place and just drive it, the ecu will just think it's not coming on boost and run fine.

    Dow: Yep that's what I thought (just searched here for my JE sheet but can't find it to confirm) My pistons came out in amazing shape considering how hard I hammered it this last build :D Ross are 2618 but due to the extra mass they spec 6 thou which is rattle city when cold I dropped it...
