Stripped head threads are usually indicative that the head is annealed on the exhaust side from being overheated.

Interesting sounds like someone got the phasing on the Helical gear a little off during production. Would like to hear from anyone else using these cams to see if this is just an isolated case. If needs be you can pull the CPS apart and rephase the Reluctors to suit getting your full range...

Tek: Could Cryo it fully assembled only downside is some Rubber doesn't survive the process.

Troy: I asked for pics so I could see how it was made, this determines how to do the repair. Point in case here is the neck looks like it's been brazed on as well, if you were to have the fitting welded the heat required would be enough to make the neck fall off! I'd look at either buying...

It depends on what the gauge is expecting to see as a signal

Wired incorrectly or a dead sensor.... You didn't drop the sensor at anytime did you? Most WB's will default to 14.8/15 when they don't get the correct signal or the Sensor is fouled.

If you can believe their advertising and specs they're very good rods at a budget price.

I still believe it's just all the huge cutouts and undressed sharp edges that cause stress risers and a place for cracks to begin. A nicely dressed case with a reinforcement ring and cryo treated would improve things 50%.

Time to hit rehab guys..... Once the Shaft is bolted to the Diff it's NOT moving front/rear....... Side to side and Up/down is another matter as AJ pointed out.

You could possibly press fit a steel drum girdle over the Torsen depending on clearence that would prevent the case expanding and splitting under power. It fails where the case is thinnest at the helical gear cutouts to allow the Ring gear to be fitted, in effect it's a "cut along dotted...
