When I installed my 55w HID's I ended up doing exactly that JJ ;)
(The startup load of the ballasts was high enough that it wasn't happening with just power relays so I added Ground path relays as well)
AJ: It can still be rephased as the reluctors are just pressed onto the shaft the same as the CPS (I used to trigger a standalone using a modded NA Distributor)
Asterix: They don't do a TrueTrac to fit our G series Diff housing I believe the one the have listed is for the Live axle rears and the offsets are incorrect so the Ring gear flange is in the wrong place.

Verify that the Timing mark on the Damper is in the correct position.
Remove #1 plug take a 250mm long piece of rubber vacc hose place it on top of the piston and turn the motor by hand watching the Hose when it stops and begins to decend look at the timing mark.
As the 7M damper gets old...
7M Cranks are induction hardened this turns parts of them blue........
If it were from running a bearing the Journal and Bearing shell would be destroyed.
