    Rich: LOL :) The Cams Gary runs in his 7M rail are sort of square with rounded corners I'm not sure on the specs but they'd be some of the biggest in a 7M I know of!

    Where did you get that info? TKO shares the length and mounting points with a 3550 (think 3550 on steroids) and MUCH stronger than a 154 in every way.

    Andrew: 13 is the spec supplied by Wade Cams I use non adjustable shimless buckets so have my head guy set them to 15 to allow for the slight settling/recession. This ensures that they never close up in use and hang a valve open (had this happen on all 24 when using a multiangle valve job...

    Well you need some way of overdriving it at least 10:1, your pullies/belts could maybe do 2:1 so you'd need a step up box of at least 5:1 after the belt drive and some way to connect this to the Turbo Compressor section. It would also need some sort of lubrication system and precision...

    Doward: Ummmm errrr most TwinCharged cars aren't compound, they switch it's either SuperCharged or TurboCharged with minimal overlap. (I don't know of any petrol motors that use a compound setup for road use due to detonation issues)

    You're talking about a centrifugal supercharger (Vortech type) You'll need a step up gearbox and yes it will still suffer Lag like a turbo (not as bad but nothing like the response of a roots type blower) Pretty much the worst of both worlds the only + I can see is they're usually easier...

    Chris: My "point" with the advertised Vs @50 "numbers" was you need to choose a cam for the application and a 272@50 is a HUGE set of cams and I'm not surprised it was no better than the 264's (would love to see some EGT #'s on those)
