I had problems with them glowplugging at high boost sustained top end pulls that went away with the same heat range/gap coppers.
Josh: There's a good chance the cable could be frayed/sticky and would probably be a good idea to replace it anyway (min 15 years old by now)
My car used to blow the Butterfly open at high boost and it scared the crap out of me a few times so it's NOT something you want to mess around with...
