    Nick: There's something in the filtering of a Digi that stops it working. (Haven't tried the new Fluke yet just my old generic Digi) I ended up finding a analog MM at a local electronics shop.

    Degunk the ICS and Cold start injector.

    After I had mine hardface welded they had to polish the journals we then checked clearences and adjusted the Cam caps to suit.

    Vas: The sooner you can get it off the Cold start circuit the better, all it's doing is washing the oil off the bores with a rich mixture. Quickest way to get it to operating temp is to drive it gently.

    There is a thin coating of babbit material on the Cam journals and this is very easily marked and looks really bad at first glance.
