Max wattage means nothing. never buy or rate anything by its max rating... always go by the RMS value. you shouldn't need an external amp for them to sound good, but it always helps

at 35wrms, an external amp won't be much of an improvement. Have you tried adjusting crossovers and equalizer? Are you sure the new speakers are properly sealed in the pods?

In my quest to replace cam seals (among other things), I CANNOT get the bolt off the cam gears! I WRENCHED like a mofo, and not a budge. Any suggestions?

Mine did that 2 weeks before it blew up (literally). Rebuild that mofo right now, while your car is still able to drive.

I don't know if they're legal or not, but my buddy uses one. The laser blocker things are pretty small and easy to conceal, as is the control unit, so theres not a whole lot to give you away
