Thanks pete, we both kinda hit that point in our lives where this shit town of corvallis wasn't going to cut it for us. I'll probably come back next fall and finish up my schooling, but I have absolutely zero want to stay in the willamette valley for any longer than that (minus portland)...

ok, another question- page MT80, when it says to insert the locking balls and the interlock pin? Can anyone elaborate more on this? I've been trying to figure out what the hell they want me to do for about an hour and a half, and can't figure out how to do / what they're saying.

When I installed a GReddy turbo kit on my buddy's miata, it came with a filter exactly the same in style. It was a HUGE piece of shit, and we switched over to a k&n one instead. However, if you do want to look into keeping thait, look to Greddy to see if they've got replacement foam.

the bearing sits very firmly in the center housing, but the shaft has probably 3-4mm in axial play. I'm guessing its okay, but it would be nice to know for sure before i get the whole thing reassembled!
