I made a test peice for the passenger side to mount them there (I too was going with a 3 way setup)..... I had them aimed properly, was about to start the fabrication of the doors and pillars... but I took it for a drive. My car was just too damn loud to notice the better soundstage. I figure...
You can't put all this time and money into the car for an OEM color!
this is the color i think would look the hottest (linked because its huge)

Well to sum things up, my B+ Circuit is on an acid trip. with the key turned it gets 1.25v. With the key off, battery disconnected, it has continuity with the body.... So I started tracing the harness. Battery -> EFI is good... EFI -> EA2 is good... but from there it all goes wrong.
I've...
Well think I got my fuel issue figured out... B+ at the diag box only has 1.25v. Battery's brand new and has a steady 12.4v.
Is this the famed bad resistor on the ecu? any other ideas?
I have no idea, I'll see when it goes to the alignment shop. Hopefully they're okay, as I really really don't like installing bushings.
Yup, they were loose and all the way over, still no go. the tree-come-along worked well though.
Headlights close just fine ;)
should work just fine, however you might need a line driver to boost the output signal. You want at LEAST 3v going to the amp (coming out of the mp3 player or whatev), if its under that, get a line driver.
1500 for motor, 600 for flywheel and bellhousing, 400 for intake stuff, 200 for motor mounts, 150 for 2j waterpump, probably 400-600 in other misc small parts.
So... at least 2500-3k (minus clutch and exhaust)
Okay, I think I've got a fundamental wiring issue mistake.
As soon as i connect the battery, *POP* my EFI relay and Alt 100amp fuse blow.
So, here's my battery connections
(+): Alt, Starter, Harness
(-): Block, Body
Here's a pic of the body ground connection:
There's 3...
okay, in this first pic, forgive the mess of the engine bay....
Battery is turned around so its now facing the right direction, the coil cover is back on, and the intake pipe is now finished. I should have snapped pics today, but i spent most of my time working on a new bracket for the bottom...
