These are the main reasons the studs are better... The studs load the threads in the block differently. You're applying a twisting action and a lead on the threads with bolts. This only loads a small section of the threads. Studs load the entire surface and don't twist. This prevents...

the stock intake isn't as restrictive as people think... the exhaust on the other hand is a huge restriction (especially the elbow) running 10PSI on a stock car won't hurt it IMHO, but you won't see the same kind of gains as someone with more mods...

it's not possible really... that ressponse is much like a motorcycle's because the rotating assembly is so damn light... Have to take into account the pistons, rods, crank, flywheel (and clutch!), front pulley, and accessories... The wankel is made for that kinda response and revs...

it's strong, honestly I think the targas are stronger with the top on than a true hardtop... Some of the interior panels had felt pads to stop squeeks, they eventually dryrot and fall apart and then it squeeks... find them and replace em (easy to get felt in a fabric store)
