    fan shroud... take it off?

stupid supra "upgrade" #83 & 84 -electric fans flow LESS than factory, and are NOT freeing up power -the fan shroud is REQUIRED for proper cooling as the fan will just pull air from around the radiator instead of THROUGH it

    Engine wiring help

lots of people do the KS rewire and clip the ends off the old ones... it just saves hassles from splitting the entire loom and taking the wires out and replacing them, then re-wrapping the loom...

My car takes forever to start

not necessarily... battery + wiring the the battery will help the CSI does tend to get really bad though. Toyota in their infinite wisdom put the port from the EGR pointing right at the CSI... Mine was LITERALLY twice the thickness it should be from it's coating of carbon... This is a...

Who installed head with cam on arp successfully?

if you get the cams in the right spot (the TSRM shows this spot clearly FYI), it's easy. the holes need to be cleaned and have a tap run down them or the studs won't go in far enough (they won't be able to tighten the nuts down enough, this is CRITICAL to the way the studs work, they muct...

Fuel cut at low boost, very low boost!

yep, happens a lot... double check the IC piping. I know you don't want to hear it, but it will idle fine if it's a leak that stays closed when it's not under pressure.

    what clutch??

Action Stage 3 (not ACT, but Action) Driftmotion carries em. It's a 6 puck, but it's smooth, quiet, and just overall really nice. It is a bit of a grab happy PITA, but any clutch that's meant to handle the power will be that way. HTH

I got the Racing Type II from Aaron... he's gotten a lot of my money recently LOL still working on getting it to not surge (I won't even see boost on the gauge and it will do a bit of the surge when I shift), but if I boost quite a bit it blows off fine...

some sort of fitting on the frame rail? undercar? wtf?!

the mounts are odd... it depends on what tranny, year, and engine. I've seen tons of donut mounts, a few with the ones on the frame too, and then the one that's on mine with the peg off the tranny mount for the other hanger piece...

Tach And Fuel Gauge Don't Work

tach has to be rewired (well, you have to change out some resisters) and the fuel gauge could be a number of things. sender, gauge, wiring... the good news is the low fuel light is a seperate circuit, and comes on when you have about 3 gallons left.

    Steering rack bushings

if you've ever replaced the pressure line on the PS with the engine in the car you'll be wishing all sorts of bad stuff to happen to the toyota engineers and their family... get the front in the air, and then turn the steering wheel so it locks. Now have a buddy push on the tire to try and...

stock seat belt slider; what is it?

most restraint laws required them to be attached to the chassis IIRC... the way the supra does it is a bit odd... is there a place for some kind of support like the supra has in the celica seats?
