there is a small valve that allows the boost pressure to go to the other side of the diaphram, that pressure is what actually causes the BOV to actuate... if the valve is clogged it won't work, that's why you run a small filter on the vaccuum line...

JJ: I like the stock style clamps, but I'm not the first owner of my car... my radiator hoses have new stock clamps on them, and I like them far better than worm gear...

clean it well... don't mess with the screws on the throttlebody...

*sigh* the issue is the system throws too much heat into the brake fluid... a BBK has more mass in the rotor and keeps the heat out of the brake fluid

enkei's are good decent wheels... at least they aren't no-name crap... then again, I'm a bit partial to old school enkei's...

9 times out of ten it's better to just replace the radiator... might as well replace the water pump, t-stat, and fan clutch at the same time if needed...

jetjock: so I have an HID kit, but the high beam indicator doesn't work. Only one of the original light plugs is used to trigger the system, so could I use a resister in the other plug to make the indicator work? I'm unsure of what resistance would be needed..

mine gets faster over time (we're talking over hours though, as on a roadtrip) I went through and took out a LOT of slack in all the linkages though...

heat gun is probably the best bet... if not, there isn't much else you can do...

locking up the brakes and doing one 100mph+ stop is a horrible test of braking performance this has been discussed over and over...

fix it before you overspin your turbo and do damage... not to mention it running like utter shit...

or buy the knockoffs for a reputable place that warranties them for a year (driftmotion)
