JJ: you suck, mine smelled like cigars when I bought it with 145K miles on it...
they seriosuly don't make em like they used to... look at the paint on modern cars compared to that.

I do know the adjustable bars on the softest setting are STIFFER than the non-adjustable ones from whiteline. IIRC the non-adjustables where quite a bit stiffer than the other ones on the market...
yes, they're heavier, but it's not unsprung weight...

you just opened the engine up, so you're bound to have vapor and stuff that needs to burn off...

about all I'd do is take the wheels off and clean the dust and crap off the suspension... have it sit in it's own climate and humidity controlled room and occasionaly go stare at it...
there are really 3 setups...
shocks which if removed, the car will still be able to drive
struts that make up the upper part of the suspension (mcpherson strut) entire assembly has to rotate to allow the wheels to turn
then you have our setup that's in the center. as we have double...
putting the right kind of oil in and allowing the surfaces to wear back in works...
I've had normal oil, Royal Purple Max Gear, Royal Purple Synchromax, and now Red Line MT-90...
normal oil it ground a bit, max gear was about the same, synchromax it ground like none other, the red line...
yes, that right VSV is in the right place
wrong EGR (I'll run to storage, I'm sure I have one out there, but finding it is gonna be the tough part)
that's the bracket for the dampener on the driver's side of the engine that bolts to the frame
take that water inlet off and take a wire...
