low idle will shake the engine violently causing the downpipe to smack around (usually resulting in a broken flex joint on the stock downpipe, ask me how I know)
get down under the car (not completely under it, but enought hat you can hear) and see if it's louder down there...
not to mention not completely KILLING your thust washers in your motor and forcing a rebuild...
IMHO much over 500HP and you should be running multiplate to keep your investment alive...
I get 18... but it's a whole lot of mixed driving with a spool happy CT26...
sounds like you have a boost leak IMHO...
no boost = great gas milage
that's why going to a turbo with some lag isn't always a bad thing...
it's a very hard urethane, feels (and looks) a lot like nylon... I think they're a different color now though...
I HIGHLY recommend them, mine is a bit loose, but I drive very hard, not to mention my shifter being in and out of the tranny many different times...
I fucken CALLED IT last night talking to my dad...
I told him I bet the car is fine, white residue on the ehaust manifold is probably the oil coolent lines...
Got Boost?: I live right next to Keller.... want me to deliver the message on a brick through her window? :evil2:
I've been in no accidents where I was driving *knocks on wood*
actually, the MKIV is:
F 1521 mm / 59.9 in
R 1527 mm / 60.1 in
with a wheelbase of 2550 mm / 100.4 in
compared to an 06 vette at
front track (inches): 1577.3mm / 62.1 in
rear track (inches): 1541.8mm / 60.7 in
with a wheelbase of 2684.8mm / 105.7"
it's the ratio as well...
that shotgun pisses me off...
Firing from the hip is Rambo shit, put it on your damn shoulder and let's see how accurate it is under full auto...
I'd rather have a GMG...
why are you getting out of the game?
dumping money into it and not getting a chance to enjoy it isn't a good return on investment.
I've wanted to throw in the towel and quit so many times, but once it's back up and running, I laugh at myself for being so silly...
