seriously...
Previous owner left the front heat sheidl off the manifold, causing the heat to destroy all the wiring on that side...
$1K+ later with a new wiring harness, CPS, and sensors (got hot enough to cause them to crumble) it runs great.
I will NEVER hack a harness, I will make...
nothing wrong with cutting stock springs...
but cutting them to the point of getting a 2 inch drop...yeah, that's not gonna be good...
here's an even better idea... you're replacing your shocks, right?
buy bilsteins, they have adjustable perches to lower your car on the stock springs...
Duane's had zero issues with his R154...
I still hold to my thoughts that the reasons R154's fail is because they are worn out or rebuilt wrong (or not fully gone through clearance wise)
iridiums can be gapped....
just do NOT touch the center electrode...
If you can find the very nice (and expensive) plug gapping pliers they won't touch the electrode and will set them all the same...
at 6000RPM you have lots of oil pressure...
idling has no load or oil pressure, kinda hard to explain, but the rings aren't really sealing, ect...
it's just overall not good...
*paging experts to thread to explain better than me*
