At least protect the terminals. Trust me, a battery moves around a lot more than you'd think. I busted a battery in another vehicle because I was missing the battery hold down...

Older fasteners if in good shape have already been heat cycled and burnished giving better torque readings, no reason to replace unless they're torque to yield fasteners or you're upgrading.

Unless they are overtorqued, they're reusable. Our engines don't use torque to yield fasteners that are common on modern cars... Hmmm.. I know I read somewhere about if the bolts come loose the constant knocking back and forth with stretch the holes out meaning the bolts will never stay in...

I've reused em just fine, but if they've come loose and are otherwise abused, replace. IJ knows a bit about this where the threaded holes can get out of the shape from them going lose and they will keep doing it, he's gonna have to comment...

I would do a full rebuild personally...you're already in there and it all has to be pulled apart anyway.

WAIT.... Stock downpipe and a straight pipe? :rofl: The downpipe is the biggest restriction in the system given it has a cat in it that clogs way before the second cat will. I already said my piece on straight pipes, and most sports cars are NOT that loud as they use tuned exhausts...

Yep, 52 means it's not getting a knock sensor signal so it pulls timing as it can't tell if you're knocking and is trying to protect the engine.

You might be lacking vitamin B6 as it can cause mad insomnia...
