Probes have a nice storage area in the hatch - big enough for a couple decent sized corpses, unlike our tiny little compartment in the Supra.

Did you do a compression test before you tore it apart? That would tell you whether the valves might benefit from the work. If you didn't, and you have the spare coin, go for it, it really can't hurt.

When this happened to me, it was a dead AFM the first time, and a bloody big IC pipe leak the second time.

Err... hopefully you mean 20-22 thou... your posted figures equal 20-22 INCHES, which is more than the entire head. :( 20-22 should work fine, get a 2mm head gasket if you are concerned.

Machine shop originally ordered Moly rings from Hastings. Unfortunately, the set they had 'in stock' is evidently incomplete, and it will be another 4 weeks before they can manufacture a new set. :( Machine shop cannot source another set of Moly rings. So... the choice then becomes either...

IJ, you certainly could, but that would invalidate the idea of being able to cool the car with the engine off, as your fan wouldn't run. I'm looking at the electric water pump + electric fans as a unit - no point running one without the other.

I've seen 19s, they can be made to fit. I wouldn't suggest it myself, you need tires that are so low profile it's impossible to get any traction, and on a car with the power potential of the Supra, it's a quick way to regret spending money on wheels.
