    Katrina pics

Actually, from what I understand, most of those are tornadoes spawned by the hurricane, not the actual hurricane itself.

This place has them for us, as I recall. http://www.crank-scrapers.com/prod01.html

So... my car got broken into last night...

Agreed. Even if they only help to cover the insurance deductable.

    Does your serious relationship partner

I'm the opposite. My wife and I have very little in common - we both have separate hobbies, food preferences, etc. She wanted kids and I wasn't crazy about the idea, but I decided I was willing to support her on it, and in return, she supports my crazy hobbies - currently extreme mountain...

    GrimJack's rebuild

Actually, the machine shop cleaned it manually. The fellow there didn't want to hot tank it, as that would trash the oil pump driveshaft bearings, and they were still in perfect condition. It would have killed the frost plugs as well, but that didn't turn out to be an issue because I had them...

    Supra in Snow?

I agree 110% - this is my approach as well.

    Supra in Snow?

I drive mine all year round, as it is my transport for me AND my mountain bike. Good Michelin snow tires help a lot - I get better traction than 4wd vehicles with all seasons on them. :D

    help clutch install

First up, we need to know if it's a turbo or NA engine. The shifter and the starter need to come off regardless.

    GrimJack's rebuild

Not just stock - but my original pistons for this block, as a matter of fact, just cleaned up. Here are some pics as she sits at the moment.

You reduce the amount of airflow the ECU sees, then use your fuel tuning device to add fuel back in.

    Guy advice

Don't give up! :) Competing with a car is pointless, it's an object, a possession, you are a live human being. Becoming involved in the work is a great idea, there are few things more cute to us than a good looking gal all dirty from helping to work on the car. Pick up a mod or two for...

    GrimJack's rebuild

I'd have to be very lucky to get it all together, running, and broken in with enough time to spare to make it to Vegas. But I just might... :) I honestly think I'll be happy with 20psi or less, I not as greedy as some of us. :D Picked up the injectors today, they came out nicely. I had no...

twinturbo clutch vs single turbo clutch

Depends on the tranny it's hooked up to. The GA70 2.0l twin turbo is mated to the older style tranny, IIRC, so it will have a different clutch than the MA70 3.0l Turbo.

    GrimJack's rebuild

Or vent, if you prefer. ;) Last night I finished assembling the bottom end - with the exception of the rear main oil seal & assembly and the oilpan, I'll do those pretty much dead last - but before I remount the tranny, of course. I had already re-assembled the head previously, so now it's...

Oversized valves, are they worth the

Valves didn't make much HP difference in Duane's car at around 600 hp. On the other hand, it did make a rather large difference in torque - almost 100 more, IIRC.

    vsv. how to remove?

2 - EGR is a cheater method of dropping your exhaust gas temps. I like the extra insurance.
