Satan III... Remix (U shouldn't be using 56K these days anyway...)

Yeah, I ran out of dye and had to go back and retouch it up. Looks perfect now. Still waiting 'til it's running fine, before I install the dash. I have to really bust @$$ and finish this up. It will have the quietest interior of any of the other MKIIIs ;-) Been sick :barf: and just...

Satan III... Remix (U shouldn't be using 56K these days anyway...)

Haven't said it much, but a REALLY BIG THANKS to all of your support and encouragement so far!! Started last weekend, but a preview of what I'll be finishing up today, along with the reinstallation of the engine harness and intake manifold. I am not sure if I will repaint the door panels...

    Snow's 92 2JZGTE Build - (Pics updated 3/3/29)

Damn!! Gonna take a bit of non-stop work to make it to TX2K8 ;-) 92 is well worth all of that work. CONGRATS! Lemme know if ya need some info/advice on getting that 2J engine/wiring in there. E

Interior change, and any thing else.

I've done a few color changes in MKIIIs, including carpet and making sure everything ended up the color I wanted. I'd suggest that while everything is out, DYNAMAT! It insulates against temperature (a bit) and it reduces road noise and other noise that takes away from your tunes. It also...

Satan III... Remix (U shouldn't be using 56K these days anyway...)

Had to remove and go through the wiringto see if I could find the issues that've been keeping the car from running. Found a few suspicious things, but nothing too obvious. I'll install tomorrow and hope that problems are all resolved now. If not, I have to do the same with the replacement...

help 2jz with us 2j harness

..USDM harness = ~$750+ (best discount I've ever seen, I don't think an employee will get much better than that) and Aristo harnesses are almost given away by the MKIV people who've gone N/A to TT. There are only a handful (~20) of wires to worry about to integrate into an MKIII. If you want...

    Alternator fuse????

Send me your mailing info... g099521@yahoo.com I will try to get it out on Saturday. No cost, unless you want some next day shipping, etc. You can then Paypal g099521@yahoo (+3%) with whatever the overnighting/shipping costs are. No promises tho... I really do not have much time...

    Alternator fuse????

I have a few spare harnesses where I can pull it from if you REALLY need one and have not found it. It is a SERIOUS PITA for me to make it to the post office during the week, so if you can find it elsewhere, do that 1st, since it may take awhile for me to get it to you. Thanks, E

Wiring Peer Review? Aristo ECU/Harness in 91

For the rear speed sensor on the R154... I have the sensor without a connector. It has 3 wires coming from it..Red, Black, and a dirty one that looks white (w/black stripe?). I have a 7M engine harness that I can pull the wires/connector from, but need to make sure to connect the right...

Wiring Peer Review? Aristo ECU/Harness in 91

Took the harness off of the car and am almost done going through it. The wires at the coilpacks (top part of the engine) were pretty crispy and some wer stuck together, but no obvious exposed/melted stuff. Probably another hour's worth of work and it'll be ready to go back on. I do not...

    Master Cylinder Brace

In for 2 of these! Brakes on my 90 are still spongy, after replacing lines, and bleeding like a beeyotch. Has alot more flex than in the video, so I am hoping that that's the real issue. 91 feels good right now, but this extra assurance will be great.

Found this in car door; Problem?

Dynamated the doors and am ready to install the speakers. Found thes at the bottom of the door as I was running new speaker wire. Anything I need to check, or maybe replace before putting panel back on? Window seems to operate normally. A bit blurry, but they look like grommets/spacers...

    Factory Supra Speaker sizes.

I have a yet-installed set of Kicker KS6.2 6" and KS5.2 5.25" component speakers. Basically four total speakers w/matching tweeters and crossovers. I received them and opened 'em up. But went with different sizes in my 91, than what I had already planned for the 90... making these a full...

    Calling all "old-school" MKIII enthusiasts

Agreed. Don't take so many shortcuts that it looks like ghetto trash. Use PVC, Home Depot parts, and other time/money savers VERY little, if at all. There will be times you may have to "do what you have to do" in a pinch, but always try to eventually fix/install PROPERLY. Trying to make a...

Missing a few bolts (1jz). Does anybody have the part numbers for...

...Just go to our vendors... Curt @ Elmhurst Toyota (Illinois?) or Jeff @ Championship Toyota (TX). After shipping and no taxes you still make out than any local places. I do get the same discounts locally. I've bought so much sheeyat, that they gave me a business discount ;-)... However...

Targa leak fix - Adhesive/Weatherstrip to use

I used the 3M stuff that came in an orange box for my previous MK3s and it was a bit thicker than the 3M orange box I got recently. The stuff I used before was a bit thicker and worked great! No leaks and airtight. So anyways, have done the targa leak fix on the wife's MK4, using the...

Wiring Peer Review? Aristo ECU/Harness in 91

Rechecked wiring and fixed a few small issues, but nothing significant. I did find that I don't get continuity from the grounds (ECU Pins 4, 65, 79, 80), until after I tried to crank/start. Shouldn't there be ground at least when I have the key turned "ready to start?" The EFI/Fuel pump...
