Gonna try and take some time out of X-Mas today and play with the power wires some more. Can someone please post their connection info, just for comparison?
I am getting power everywhere it belongs, when it's supposed to be there (B+, switched, etc). The Check Engine light is not coming on...
The sensor has a white, black, and red.... does that match up directly with the wires on the engine side connector?
I know it seems obvious, but I need to verify. Don't want to be 'causing my wiring-Gremlin issues.
Was reviewing some of my docs before getting started. Saw this on one of Rick's documents. The ABS wires are tied with the P and N signal wires...
Did anyone have to do something similar with the Aristo harness/ECU to the MKIII Auto-dash-harness? I don't think I have mine wired like this...
Anyone have pics of them installed? Any tips or gotchas?
The wife doesn't want to put it on her MKIV yet, until she knows if we need to use some other adhesive to prevent someone from just stealing it (or it flying off).
We know if someone REALLY wants it, they'll get it. But, we ain't...
Naw. Even contacted the previous owner to see if he had some gremlins too, so that maybe I could figure things out without MAJOR work.
Gonna put some time into it tonight and recheck the engine harness connections. After Josh came over, I don't get the check engine light anymore (tho EFI...
Josh has mapped out the pin differences and we've tried it to troubleshoot his 1JZ issues.
Send me your email addy and I'll send it to you. Since it's his work, I don't want to publish it on the list for him yet (I'll make sure it's okay 1st).

What is the total volume of space for the sparer tire area (well)?
I'd like to throw a couple of 8's (maybe an 8 & a 10) in there and make sure I know what to build.
The pads scrape the paint off of the rotor surfaces. No ill effct on the pads. Since I've been rolling it and out of the garage, using the brakes, alot of it has scraped off of those areas already. Will be much cleaner once I get to drive it and hit the brakes a few times.
This is what the...
I made a write up with how to extend the harness... I can't seem to find it, so if anyone has the thread saved somewhere, please post it here as well. I went to Frye's and got a couple of different sized spools of wire, a fancy wire stripper, and a bunch of heatshrink.
This is what I did...
Looks like the sensor I'm getting, has the connector cut off. Can someone please take a close up so that I can see what color wires go into each spot of the sensor-side of the connection?
Like I said, I can then match it up with the harness side of the connection.
THANKS!
...I guess us guys from Florida are real nuts jobs... Had something similar awhile back and acted like I did not care what happened to my car. Pulled alongside and let them see I was getting ready to come over hard. I did come over REALLY hard and barely missed him as his ass ran into the...
To the front of thast fuse is a small clip (circled in 2nd pic). Use a small/tin flathead to push this little tab (arrow pointing to it in 1st pic)while pushing down on the fuse... comes out of the bottom of the plastic holder/assembly and has a bolt on both sides. Good luck!
Eibach/Tokicos, 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 w/35 offset all-around. Zero miles on the suspension/tires... On the driver's rear, my wheel sticks out further than on the rear passenger. I think the fender must've been hit before or pushed in (but I'll fix that later)
Hoping for a little more drop once...
Still struggling with getting it started (power wire issues). But it got it's 1st bath in Texas today... I might find some time to mess with it later and try to get it started/drive-able. You can see that the suspension has now settled a bit...
Hey guys,
Again I have alot more sheeyat than I have cars to do it with...
I have a JDM and US TT assembly to get rid of (Zach has dibs on the US one).
A left-over (borrowed) MikeS10 front passenger caliper ;-)
3" downpipe for US Twins
and a bunch of other misc stuff....
Thinking maybe...
I am going to try to tackle this again tomorrow...
Any ideas on what I may have wired wrong and/or do the symptoms mean that there may be a bad sensor or other issue to chase down? I'm out of ideas.
I am going to recheck... STA = Start Signal --- Black wire on E9 Pin #77
Can anyone...
I don't see the tweeter mount. Is that what the tweeter is fastened to? I was thinking that I'd mount the tweeter up, towards the inside of the mirror bracket (putting a hole in the door panel to mount it to).
...edit: Nevermind... saw pics of someone else's pods outside of the car. Kewl.
