No cutting necessary of the rad support. The wiring will need slight modification - the H4 has 3 prongs that fit directly into the stock connector. You could make a custom connector to plug into the stock connector but you really should do the rewire and use relays to drive the lights so you...
The hella 90mm standard low beam projector with HID - $535 for each lens, bulb, ballast and then add in the mounting stuff.

The problem is each person will do a completely different install. I've seen SupraNick's installation and mine will be different than his.
There's a LOT of hard work and thought in these kinds of projects and those of us that undertake these sorts of things want to be a little different...
I actually went with four lights - not the bi-xenons (weren't out when I got mine back in 2000). The Bi-Xenons are great and all but would look a little silly in the opening - one tiny little lens with a whole bunch of wasted space on either side (much harder to make the headlights narrower...
Hella 90mm HID projectors for low @ $1100 for the pair (lens, bulb, ballast included)
Hella 90mm Halogen High Beams for high @ $100ish for the pair
Replacement headlight buckets so I can hack those up instead of wrecking my originals @ $200 for the pair
Misc Brackets and arms for mounting the...
I agree 100%. I've been working on my headlight project off and on since 2000 - yes I am slow but I want it to be perfect and don't spend every waking minute working on it.
I also have about $1500 invested so far and likely have a few hundred more to go.
NSX lights are too expensive and require too much "Hacking" to get installed. Then adding an HID Bulb to a Lens that was not designed for HID is not wise.
Look at the Hella 90mm modules - or even their newer stuff to get even smaller. These are some of the most advanced lighting available...
I am in this same place. My Supra hasn't moved under its own power since I got back from SILV05. The car ran great - just needed a tuneup to pass DEQ. I pushed it out of the garage twice - to clear out space in the garage for the Superbowl parties (I love breaking the NFL rules about not...
Thanks... Chris has one of those MkIIIs that many aspire to. He was more active in the mailing list about a decade ago but has refocused his life and doesn't spend any time on the forums or lists any more. He is still dedicated to his 89 Supra Turbo and SILV though...
We are very excited to announce that Chris Jensen has accepted our special invitation to join the SILV Board of Directors.
Chris has attended every Supras Invade Las Vegas events over the years and has been very instrumental behind the scenes to help make sure SILV runs very smoothly. Also...
Had a friend with a 93 5.0 Mustang Auto. Stock vs Stock with my 89 Supra Turbo 5 Speed he only beat me off the line once - when I was futzing with the radio and the light turned green.
Sure... Mustang - if you don't want to turn. Same story with the GN. Going straight is fun and all but...
Instead of using Bondo (not good for flexible surfaces) try this - http://www.urethanesupply.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=URE&Product_Code=5003R10&Category_Code= - this is what I used when I removed the fins in the front bumper. Then you top that off with this -...
That jerk can...
I've never understood the need for personalized plates. I just can't see giving the government any more money than I already have to.
I'd prefer to have barcodes actually - that way they aren't readable unless you've got a mobile scanner.
Take that you old bat...
