    Supra or house.......:(

I might agree with suprabad up there... but... that doesn't mean you should go out there and go crazy on those Supra projects. What you should be doing is putting a LOT of money into savings for the house and retirement. I wish I would have purchased a house earlier. I bought in 2003...

Looking for a mk3 rc car shell - post your rc cars

If you're crazy... you can do this on your own. Here's what you'd need to do... 1. Create a mold in the correct scale - most likely you would have to carve it yourself. You could invest in a 3D model and send it out to one of those rapid prototyping shops to have one made into a solid...

Looking for a mk3 rc car shell - post your rc cars

I started looking into what it would take to get a body made. The more I researched the more depressing it became. It would be easier if there were one standard size. I did find a body (not MkIII) that was a simple vacuum formed plastic - you had to trim it and everything - that would be...

    Whats your Supra story??

OK... but only since you asked so nicely. WAY back in the day (before most of you reading this were even born) my mom was looking for a new car. She visited a few Toyota dealerships and decided on the Celica LB GT 5 Speed. At the dealership she finally decided to buy through they had a 79...

    Alarm fobs

You're not going to find any more new TDSE's using that PN... or any other PN for that matter. When I was working on retro-fitting the VIP system to work with my 89 (and had it narrowed down to just a couple of wires), I emailed fujitsu-ten to see if anyone would be willing to help me out...

    Alarm fobs

On your dash cluster there should be a red LED that says alarm or something similar. Alarms are just a deterrent and will not prevent your car from being stolen. If they want it badly enough they will get it no matter what security you have - short of armed guards with automatic weapons.

Why does everyone underestimate the MKIII?

Even the "almighty" MkIV is not the best drag car out there. So many other cars can beat the Supra in the 1320 with less horsepower. Is the Supra the best track car? Nope... not there either. The Supra is a GREAT all-around car. Jack of all trades - Master of none. Remember though...

    It's ALIVE!

My interior is old and tired now. So many people have finally stepped up in the interior department. I just want to get it back on the road and enjoy the drive. So many projects left unfinished.

    Alarm fobs

I was doing this back in 99ish. Had the wiring schematics for the VIP system and my 89. Had the system narrowed down to 3 wires left to figure out. PITA. You're better off getting an aftermarket alarm - and you'll get more options that way too.

    It's ALIVE!

I bought this Supra back in the spring of 96 - That'll be 12 years this coming April. It came with just 50,500 miles on the odo - an average ~6000/year. I had to replace the clutch within the two days - totally gone. Had to get towed on that one. I'm still running that same reman'd...

    It's ALIVE!

The return to Vegas with the Supra is up in the air. I've had to rent mini-vans the past couple years to haul all of the SILV stuff down (shirts, canopies, infopackets, etc). I'll make the trek even without my Supra.

    It's ALIVE!

I have the PIAAs and have actually written the for sale text to post them up here about 4 times. Each time I write the text I realize how much I missed the Supra and was not able to post the rims up for sale. A little more of the story. My Supra has 186,000+ miles on it. Original...

    It's ALIVE!

I drove my 89 Supra turbo to SILV05 - that's the 2005 Supras Invade Las Vegas event. When I returned home I parked it in the garage and it hadn't moved under its own power until today - ~2.5 years later. A new battery was all it took and the engine roared to life! Amazing! Now I have a...

Why does everyone underestimate the MKIII?

Well said Jeff. If your car looks like $#!T then people will think of it as $#!T. If your car looks HAWT! then people with think of it as HAWT! At the end of the day the MkIII (in stock form) can still take the majority of the (stock) cars on the road today. Stock vs Stock I never lost...
