Up to you... I went with a high flow metal core as it's not as fragile as the ceramic ones. If your stocker isn't clogged, run it. That alone might quiet it down enough.

Have to either size the shaft or the bearings. Did I mention the bearings are a bitch to install? Have to get the oil holes aligned, get em square in the bore, ect... Overall it's one of those things that if they fuck up the engine will suffer a bad failure...

USDM tails with silver paint removed from center section (see pic of my car below). JDM has a tinted diffuser layer (the lense itself is the same color) and the center section has gunmetal paint on the back.
