Snow? When we do get snow here the supra does fine (LSD diff. makes it easy).
But we get fucking ICE here, can't drive on ice without studded tires, and they're illegal here. If it ices, you just chill at home.
If the flywheel was machined flat, the clutch would slip in short order (might hold for a while, but then, sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiip).
Sounds like you put the clutch disk in backwards.
If you're using the stock turbo, stick to the stock manifold. The manifold isn't the bottleneck, the turbo is and I doubt you'd see any noticable gains changing.
Now if you're changing turbos it's a whole different story...
No, the bypass is needed! The N/A uses a bypass while the Turbo model uses the turbo as the bypass. The coolant has to flow through that in some way.
This is why you loop the lines instead of plugging, or you can use the N/A waterneck as I mentioned.
It's an example of what happens when you try and regulate a sport too much, it gets too expensive for the small guys to compete, and then it gets too expensive for the big guys as well.
Hopefully they'll learn from it, as rally is pretty damn cool.
Raptor Racing does it (I should know, I have one ;) )

no no NO on the loose clearances.
Unless you're building for thick oil (IJ), don't deviate from the TSRM's specs in clearances.
Depending on cash level, ARP main studs aren't really needed as the stock mains are plenty strong (inline engines rock, we have 7 mains while a V8 only has 5)...
That front bumper is the ONLY one made for the pre-89, hence why I said it would probably sell well, but I haven't seen a good example of it in some time...
Tough time trying to sell anything that isn't maintenance for cars these days with the economy :(
I remember someone mentioning having to go to the dealer with feeler gadges and going through a few oil pumps until he found one within the tolerances specified in the TSRM.
Also remember someone digging TINY pieces of metal out of the pump as well.
Hence why I say inspect it.
