i had the same problem with that downpipe. I ultimately removed that bracket (if its the same one im thinking of). Your other option is to either get a flex section welded back on (good idea if you dont want to crack your manifold) or gets it welded so its positioned properly.
if i were you, i would invest in a new harness from toyota. it will be the best $500 you will every spend on your car. in most cases, the harness is in worse shape than it seems. even when you patch up the wires that are visibly in bad shape, you will likely run into future problems

i would get an aftermarket afpr to control how much fuel pressure your rail is seeing. the stock fpr is old and has been known to be unreliable with aftermarket fuel pumps with a higher flowrate.

well i called RC up. they want me to send them back... they will cover any charges. although the rep that i talked to said that they should be installed within 4 weeks after i get them back and that may be the cause of my problems.
