It wasn't that bad. Once you get over the fact that xenogears had to take a backseat to all the marketing and shit that went into FF7, you can appreciate the game much more. The 2Dness of the game didn't take anything away from the whole for me. And Fei is a much more interesting and complex...

Well, considering MK3s have low value(especially an NA), I find it hard to believe you can get a GOOD QUALITY complete paint job from insurance. Good paint jobs aren't cheap. If that's what's happening, then it's all good and go for it.
