    ok here it starts

Err... welcome to Off Topic. Seriously, stuff like this should be dealt with by PM. And if talking to the person involved doesn't fix the situation, try PMing a mod / admin and we will deal with it.

New Spearco IC & BIC modified hardpipes installed *PICS*

STB? Standard Throttle Body? Sexually Transmitted Benefactor? Southern Transient Bat? I have the engine undercover, but it's in the garage at the moment, I'll mount it once I get all the little details taken care of.

LOL - I knew you'd get sucked into this thread eventually... it's specific gravity is too large for you to avoid! :)

What year was the first widebody MA70?

I hate it when Jeff starts pulling out the FACTS. As usual, I'll take his word for it. :) I've seen several narrowbody versions here in Canada - all of which were imported with already swapped 1J engines, actually.

Look for anyone who has done the NA-T conversion. There has been a whackload of them done over the years. I haven't paid much attention to the details, as I started with a turbo, so no need.

New Spearco IC & BIC modified hardpipes installed *PICS*

Just got my car back from becauseican. He mounted my shiny Spearco IC and modified my IC pipes to fit it. Had to relocated the oil cooler as well. Boost with no controller installed went from 10psi to 15psi!!! Is it just me, or do the hardpipes look fan-freaking-tastic???!!! This guy can...

    60-1 CT26 Questions

Technically, rakkasan has it covered. The thing is, a CT-26 with an upgraded compressor wheel and stock hot side is capable of more power than I care to have... and clipping the hot side gives you more power potential at the cost of lower RPM spool. So why would I want to give up spool times...

Like I said, I'd be seriously concerned with 2 stock gaskets. I always suggest a rebuild over a new engine. A properly remanufactured engine is basically brand new, a used JDM style engine is still a 15 year old engine with unknown problems.

What year was the first widebody MA70?

You betcha. The MA70- on both plates means that car was a widebody from the factory. On a narrowbody Supra, the first letter would be "G".

I now hate bmw's, and their stupid ass drivers

Here - and Jayhall lives here - people turning left don't get the right of way. In some extenuating circumstances, when you can prove the other car ran the red light or something, you may get responsibility transferred to him. This is, however, extremely rare. This is actually a problem here...

anyone play need for speed, most wanted?

Sure, they had all kinds of tuning options - and you could leave them alone and still whip the entire game without any difficulties with handling or power. The only thing making advancement in the Underground series difficult was the cheating computer opponents, your car setup mattered not one...

    Why is my car slow?

Clutch, center support bearing, brakes, old hardened brittle rubber hoses, vacuum lines, timing belt, fan clutch, alternator, turbo, IC piping, spark plug leads... I could go on for some time, but the fact is that driving a car fast will put a lot more strain on the whole car, so you'll break a...

Depends on how it was implemented. I've seen VWs that put in a spacer - like so: Head Head gasket Spacer Head gasket Block This drops their compression enough that they can mount a STUPID big turbo and boost it to over 1000whp. If someone just layered in a pair of composite gaskets, I'd be...
