SOGI isn't good for performance driving. Hell, a bit longer and towards the steering wheel would be better in that case. It's also not a true short shifter...
-Pressure plate should have those cutouts.
-Clutch is toast, don't reuse the pressure plate, get a whole kit.
-Inspect flywheel for cracks, mine had them after the stock clutch took a crap on me.
With all the craptastic reviews of that clutch, I'll never run it. Crankwalk, stacked diaphrams getting out of alignment, engadgement issues, hydraulic system failure...
But as you're already running it, about the only thing you can do is inspect the parts and see what went wrong...
So when they round up certian people in your community because of some bullshit, you'll pull the whole "it's not me, I don't have to worry."
When they take your neighbor away, you're not being bothered, so you won't say anything?
Sounding familiar to you yet? Know your history?
That was my point exactly.
Don't get me wrong, the LIPP traction bars are great, but you don't make the other bars.
Still waiting for someone to make a good STREETABLE (no heim joints) set of bars that are adjustable.
Double adjustable would be nice as well...
I've heard bad things about the A1's quality, personally I'd like to see an adjustable bar with normal bushings and not heim joints, but nobody makes them.
"keeping it in the USA" is an idiotic statement on most counts, so don't get me started (betcha the parts that the A1's are made from...
If I find a better part from Japan, I'm going to buy it from them... Much like the POS replacement parts from a parts store for our cars when I'll get the parts from the dealer instead.
The difference is HUGE with the targa off when I did mine...
Personally I'd never run solid subframe mounts/spacers as then you're going to hear the suspension and especially the diff.
Poly is about as far as I would go, same with the rest of the bushings...
Only way to know anything is to jack the car up and pull the inspection plates and have a look.
Could be any number of things, sounds a lot like when the bolts backed out on the claw that holds the clutch fork in, low pedal, and the fork touched the pressure plate causing pulsation...
