    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Enraged- I've ridden in walbro pump'd vehicles and was not a fan of the noise output of the walbro, plus their flow drops off pretty badly once FP gets higher. I'm planning on running this turbo up to 30-35psi, so high pressure performance is a must. IJ- didn't you run dual bosch 044/040's...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Yep, currently it has a mk4 TT denso pump in it right now, but I am unsure of how much more fuel it can provide. The pump dilemma is my main trouble area seeing a there are so many ways to go about it. I see three main options I can go with that are not super invasive/involved: 1- 2nd denso...

Wow that's rough. Are they keeping up with it or are you just huddling up inside? I mean, snow can be moved but that cold is just nasty. I've been up to not much... Lots of video game playing (Starcraft2, Deadspace2 mainly) and general wishing/wanting in classifieds areas. I bought some 272...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

lol, looks just like a walbro... Anyways, I just bought some 272's for the car and am startig to once again get fuel on the mind. 1350's from FIC and some -8 fuel lines should help. Main issue would be seen above- which fuel pump to use!! Bosch 044, Fuellab prodigy, A1000, duel densos (with...

    92nsx's supra build

Why not stop by his house and take a look for yourself :P In actuality he has the inverter in the back, next to the battery. It's hardwired in, but has a relay turning it on (in the coin holder iirc) then some regular wires going to an outlet.

    AEM EMS standalone

Sorry for the late reply- I'm running a custom FFIM that completely got rid of the CSI. It is worth noting that if you make a plate out of aluminum to cover the CSI hole, you can tap it for the MAP sensor vacuum reference (I did that before I got the FFIM installed)! As for the...

    AEM EMS standalone

Oh, that'll be fun-I had a sore back for a week after I shaved extra circuits out of my harness :) I pulled the MAF, Cold-start, VSV's, relocated TPS, ran MAP and IAT wires, wired for sequential injection, rewired for a DH61 ignitor, added injector clips, and re-wrapped everything beore I...

What was the very first car you ever owned?

The first car I bought was a 1983 RX-7 GSL. It had been pulled out of a storage unit and sold on Ebay. It was local and I had $400 so I bid on it. Sold for the opening bid! Picked it up and it ran perfectly for 3 years until I sold it for 1k. Good times with that car...

    SOGI short shift mod

^^ lol I have it done to my shifter mainly because the threads had been stripped at some point (OEM know kept falling off). As far as working, it works as a shifter but I need to get a better shifter know to make it work better. Spherical knob = fail.

JDM throttle body set up for 7m-gte from supracarparts.com

No, that little cusion thing is called a dashpot, and it is not a throttle stop. It is designed to gradually let the throttle plate come to its closed position on the actual throttle stop. When the engine runs at idle, the dashpot should not be touching the throttle linkage at all- vacuum should...

JDM throttle body set up for 7m-gte from supracarparts.com

Does it have an throttle stop? If you don't have a stop to keep it from completely closing, the throttle plate will wedge itself closed when you let off. The factory TB has such a stop, but if they changed out the bellcrank for (what I think is a generic) "blue pulley" you may have lost tat...

    My other Toyota- '86 MR2

Hey- what style exhaust manifold do you need(EGR hookup location)? I used to have 2-3 mani's around but I gave them to the buy that bought my MR2- I know I had top and side mount EGR feed manifolds- I bet he still has them! I even think some heatshields were in that box...

Raised Cowl Hood Feeler Thread (DO U WANT ONE)

Ken- could you check to see if the OEM hood struts will work with this hood? I know many CF hoods can't use struts because of the pressure being too focused...cracks are bad :/ If not we might have to come up with a creative hood prop solution for everybody, cause I'm not a fan of the...

    29lbs of boost on a 2003 Evo

With E-85 it is absolutely possible. The day I had my Pump tune done, I was behind an Evo 9 that ran an upgraded IC, 1000's and E-85, they peaked 32psi boost, but it dropped off to ~19 by redline. They are able to re-flash the stock ECU unlike Supra ECU's.
