What's the easiest way to identify a Turbo MKIII?

Yeah, pretty sure... that's all I've ever heard, it's never gone any further, ever.

Specs and Year Changes for MKIII

True, but that's not really good enough, lol. I know it was there, almost all the 88T's I've seen have ABS as well, including mine, but I know for a fact it was an option. What I need is someone with a 91 who doesn't have ABS to post. :), or I need info backing up that it was standard from a...

What's the easiest way to identify a Turbo MKIII?

Yeah, so now that we've cleared that up. All the chassis codes are MA70, none are MA71.

    Passwords - very important!

What can I say? ... FWIW, I used the double hashing MD5 thing with a 6-character alphanumeric salt in my forum software... vB3 only uses 3 digits, :p. (Plus, the salt is case sensitive, I used random case as well, which means there's 62 possible characters for each character in the...

    Passwords - very important!

Since it was brought up, and I don't really think it's a bad idea to use a different password, passwords in phpBB are stored in MD5 hash format, a one-way hashing technique which cannot be decrypted because it does not even contain the original information. vBulletin 2.0 used to use the same...

What's the easiest way to identify a Turbo MKIII?

someone post a pic. I just want everyone to know we are talking about the VIN here, not the chassis code... the VIN. Just want to make that clear. Even without a pic, just the VIN would do.

    Old members roll call.

I don't think there will be much name theft, other than people with names like "1988Supra" or "SupraMA70" And so on.

Time Lapse video made with a 1992 MK3

Yeah, it's odd. Maybe someone just liked the pre-89 mirrors better. I know some people like them because they have more glass, so you have more vision, even though they don't look as nice on the car. (The 89+ ones are more rounded).

What's the easiest way to identify a Turbo MKIII?

Post a pic. Also, if you go to Toyota with your VIN, they'll be able to tell you if the car was always a Turbo model. :)

What's with the pre-89 black mirrors on a 92 teal car? :( I like the newer mirrors, and you can never have too much teal! :p
