My big thing is when people say "could of" or "should of." I can let things go like spelling mistakes and so on, but they don't even know the words that are coming out of their mouths when the speak. You aren't saying the word "of." You are saying could have; COULD HAVE! When shortened it...
I just wanted to say you seem more concerned about things other than grammar, such as spelling, and the correct usage of words in sentences.
Grammar in text is generally considered to be more correct capitalization, punctuation, and so on.
I don't mind when people make mistakes, and I don't...
The front lip, mudflaps, etc, aren't supposed to be painted, they should have been taken off the car before it was painted IMO.
Same goes for the wiper arms and rear toe hooks, as well as the gaskets on the rear spoiler.
IMO you should have spent a little more time prepping the car...
I can hear mine pretty good. I heard it a lot more once I added an intake and made my exhaust more free-flowing.
The way to test if it is working is to take it off the car and see if you can blow through it. If you can, it has failed, if you cannot, it is fine. :)
Don't do it while it's hot...
While I know this thread is now closed, I simply want to add to this the fact that displacement is not the volume inside of an engine. A 3.0L engine does not have 3.0L in it, it has more than 3.0L. 3.0L is the displacement, in other words, it is the amount of fluid each cylinder can suck in...
Excellent post Jim, and yeah, you should add the step about putting the bolt back in, lol, I can just imagine someone forgetting, then pouring the new stuff in only to have it pour out... and then go for a drive... :(.
PS: You need a new black shift knob. :p
I'm pretty sure the Bomex rear "bumper" is just sides that go on the original bumper. Some people mold them in. I don't think Bomex has a full bumper, I could be wrong though.
Sometimes guys will wave at me, usually I give them a face like "you look like an idiot," and then happily wave back, lol.
I don't initiate the wave though. :p
Exactly. In order to use the 89+ grilles, you've got to use the 89+ signals. Doing it any other way makes it look like you're too lazy or cheap to do it properly. :p
You're in for a world of pain, rust in places like that will always come back, and with a vengeance :(.
May want to consider another shell, unfortunately. Though it is possible to fix it. Just make sure you cut out as much rust as you can see and replace it with fresh metal.
Good luck man.
