I'm still going to get the HKS exhaust (75mm dual tip) for my car, whether it's stainless or not, I love the sound, and it looks great.
I still have the stock catback on my car and it has no rust, so I'm not concerned about rust on the HKS.
Why are you saying your exhaust is superior because it has no resonator? Any exhaust setup I ever buy had better have a resonator, or I won't even consider it.... maybe it's just me. :dunno:
Umm... the length of rods can not change the displacement of an engine. It's simply not the way an engine works.
Displacement = Bore x Stroke x # of Cylinders
Tell me where you see rod length in there. Rod length only changes compression ratio. 1JZ has a 71.5mm stroke, 2JZ has an 86.0mm...
Canadian models are in x100mm/Hg^2, basically just double the number it shows on there to get PSI. (-2 = -4, 2 = 4, 4 = 8).
The stock gauge is SLOW to react, if you get an aftermarket one you'll notice boost come on a lot quicker on the gauge.
Everything sounds perfectly normal.
When I checked mine, it was simple, I adjusted it in 2 places, I adjusted the rod, as well as tightened the cable. If a nut is stuck, that would suck, but I had no problems.
I'm going to say with almost certainty, no.
The R154 and the A430E in the MA70 do not share the same bolt pattern on the transmission side of the bellhousing, and I'm almost positive the A342E from the JZA70 shares the same bolt-up method as the A340E, as I believe you use the A340E bellhousing...
The boost gauge needle isn't sitting at 0 when when the car is off, it's sitting at 5psi. So if the gauge is reading 10psi, it's actually only 5psi, because 5psi = 0psi.
Probably got dropped or something.
