I'd use the 87 ECU and harness, you'll need to use some sensors from the 87 engine too, as some changed connectors. (TPS, O2 sensor I believe, and others). The 92 harness won't match up to your body harness, and it's more trouble than it's worth. Use the 87 stuff, engine brackets/mounts...

The MX83 diff is an 8.0" unit, I've confirmed it in the EPC, they use the same ring & pinion sets as the MA70.

All Turbos have LSD. Some N/A's have LSD, check the data tag in the engine bay (on pre-89 models) or in the door jam (89+ models), check the axle code, it will be G282 or G284 for non-LSD, or G285 for LSD.

Sounds good, but I'd still prefer to get a North American one, some of the stuff is slightly different, etc. I'll probably pick up an 88 one sometime.

The reason they weren't brought to Europe was the larger license plates. They won't fit into the 89+ tail set without modification. Good luck with the project though. :)

Read the replies you are getting on SF, I don't know what you're talking about, but Suprasport and Suprastore are NOT the same, nor have they ever been the same. Suprastore has been around for a LONG time. Also, they don't have a good reputation either, but your point is moot.

On the Supra, you can feel the difference, but it won't make as much of a difference as on a car with a strut setup.

His car was read and was repainted black, they didn't do the engine bay, is all. Supra's engine bay: My Corolla's engine bay:

It's not just an insert, it's the upper speedometer cable, you have to replace the whole upper cable I believe.

I really doubt they are the same, the Supra is the only Toyota I know of with that specific size/place for the sunroof control, most of them are like my Corolla GT-S control, and it's not the same. :(

Yeah, it was on every year MK3 Turbo. On Canadian ones it was in English and French.

For a long time during the production run of the MKIV, people thought it would get a V-8, but it never did, I could see Toyota doing that for the next one. All-aluminum V-8 is pretty good... it probably wouldn't be Turbo though. :(
