Just thought I'd add this: 55521-16030 is the part number for the Toyota part, usually dealers have it in stock I think, list price is $5.33, Jay Marks will sell it for less, probably about $4.50. I dunno, it's cheap either way, lol.

The needle is just slipped onto a metal post, if you turn it all the way up, then turn it further, the needle will move on the post. Here's a pic of the speedometer unit: The needle comes off, pull harder, lol. (It is best if you use a fork or something, so you don't break the needle's plastic).

Pull the needle off, and put it back on at 0. Or turn the needle all the way around until it stops, then turn it further so it spins on the post. Not too hard. I've had all of my needles off a few times before.
