There are several different systems to ensure that the transmission isn't in gear. My car also requires that I leave the engine running until I get out and shut the doors, however, I have a tap into the ABS speed sensor so that if there's any motion signal, the starter thinks that the hood has...
My boss' Lexus GS300 has similar damage to the driver's side lock cylinder. He's not entirely sure when it happened, because he always uses the keyless entry. Fortunately there wasn't as much damage to the trim...
Well, at least they didnt' get into your car. My car had the window...
Transmission & bell housing
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder
Hydraulic hose (Driftmotion has a nice one that goes all the way from the master to the slave)
Driveshaft

Brake pedal (Narrow)
Clutch pedal mount

Aw crap. I already have a huge pile of 5mm LEDs in red, yellow, and white. It would have been nice if I could have used those. Red would work very nicely for the dashboard and climate control, IMO.
(I was going to re-do the tail lamp assembly in all LED. Still might, but it requires such...
The thread posted in post #8 has the answers that I know I'm looking for, however...
The other possibility is to encase another 1156 lamp somewhere where it won't cause a fire or anything dumb. Just let the car light a lamp somewhere in the rear quarterpanel somewhere so that the TLF module...
Well, a 4cyl, or a V6 has a much shorter head, and often has more space in the cylinder walls. This makes the head gasket surface more forgiving, though those blow head gaskets when done like that, too.
The extra length of the 7M head also introduces problems, particularly with the aluminium...
TSRM troubleshooting all seems to have one thing in common. "GAUGE" fuse blown, or wiring/ground fault.
The circuit breaker's location is on page BE-13 of the TSRM, you can see the on-line version at that link.
Hmmm...
Of those two, I like the lower (4 hole) better. But maybe something in between? 6 hole I think might look better.
@suprawalt: I don't have anything against Al pulleys for the accessories, in fact I like that idea. It's the harmonic balancer that I'm leery of replacing. It is...
The pictures look like pretty standard 5mm LEDs.
The problem (As I see it) with blue is that blue is about the worst on night vision. It looks sexy, but isn't practical.
Still, because it looks good, that's the way that my stereo is done, too, so that makes for a confincing argument to go...
That the pressure plate is new, I don't dispute. That it's been upgraded, I guess there's no way to tell, but I strongly suspect that it has not been.
The disc doesn't look bad, I don't think that there will be a problem with the friction material coming off or anything. But I don't know...
As stated... The NA pistons = hoigher compression.
Mounting the 2 knock sensors to the GE block is going to be tricky, but can be done. There are 3 bosses on the block for the sensors. The GE used the middle one, the GTE uses botht he front and rear one.
Also, the GTE block has the oil...
If I could, I would be SO there. I used to have one of those old Celicas, and I loved it, even if it was gutless. Putting in a 7M into one of these would be so sweet!
The base of the radiator mount has the holes already there, as does the bumper cover to the sides. I just did a GTE swap, last summer, so I still pretty much remember.
I had some trouble with the lower moutns, and had to extend my lower IC pipe a bit. No matter, because I'm swapping in a...
What he said.
The stock CT26 just SHOULD NOT be pushed past 14 PSI. It's simply not worth it. You won't get more FLOW, just more heat. If you do go ahead and cool that extra heat with a better IC, then you don't get more manifold pressure anyway, since it's simply not moving more air...
OneJoeZee beat me to it. :)
Basically, with a 6 speed, what you get is an extra LOWER gear, not a higher one.
In order to make that work, what you need is a set of taller gears in the differential to go with. If you could find a set of 3.1:1 differential gears for the Mk3, that would...
I'd do flush-mounts if I could find a set that actually look right.
I'd have the following requirements:
Must sit flush with the hood/fender
No screws or other fasteners visible when the hood is closed.
Proper beam pattern/illumination for both low and high beams.
Functionality must be...
I dunno... You COULD do an underdrive on, say, the PS pump without underdriving at the crank, and leaving the water pump/fan pulley at factory size. I don't know that it's really worthwhile, though. :)
