any photochopers up to the challenge?

Sure, 42603-14340 is the part number. I was wrong about them being 98 only though, they are listed for 97-98 N/A Supras, and there was a choice for the Turbos.

    I need a pic of 87 blue cloth interior/seats

There are 3 types of interior cloth. 86.5-87 88-89 90-92 88-89 is the best FTW. LOL.

any photochopers up to the challenge?

Not JDM, just newer. They came on North American models as well. (98 Only IIRC). They look much nicer than the early caps.

    Power steering rack boots

Meh, just do what I did, replace both boots, as well as both inner and outer tie rods, then you don't need to worry about rusty threads, etc, you just take it all out in one piece, lol. But, whatever floats your boat ;).

    my cell phone broke :(

Meh, just cancel the plan and forget about a cell phone. Cell phones FTL. If I'm at work, people can call me there, if I'm at home, people can call me there. If I'm not in 1 of those 2 places, I'm out doing something, leave me alone. I had to have a cell phone for my last job, now that I have...

    Mk II's in Rallying

The only part about that article is that Toyota didn't start producing the AE86 until 05/83 (08/83 for North America), but they're saying they used it in the 82 season.

Icy Road Crash.... This is crazy!

Everyone in Canada? My guess is those people were running on summer tires or something. I've never seen that kind of stuff happen around here, and I've seen much worse weather. Though the one posted in the first post is pretty crazy, not sure I've ever seen a car slide on ice like that...

60/40 Rosin Core Solder submersed in gas?

As long as you use quality crimps, etc, no worries. I still prefer to crimp and solder.

    What's Wrong With Me?

I've seen that movie twice, and after both times I had the urge to get McDonald's, and after both times, I did in fact eat a Big Mac. I actually don't care for McDonald's, I hate most of their stuff, but the Big Mac... mmmm I love em. This thread kinda makes me want one.

    antenna

Basically if you have an 89-92 3-piece spoiler, you want that antenna, if you don't, you can use any 86.5-88 antenna or an 89-92 N/A antenna.

    Toyota Part Numbering System

I will continue to update this thread with parts information relevant to the Supra, as you guys continue to need parts for your cars. To start off with, some information regarding what the first couple numbers mean in a Toyota part number.

A 2JZ swap is easier than you think

    13401-46020 - 2JZ-GE/GTE crank. 13201-46040 - 2JZ-GE/GTE rods. Yes they're the same. Yes I work at Toyota. FTW.

The "Supramania Flash Chat" we need more people in here thread.

Banning is a bad term used by the application. I'm usually only kicking people out of the room we are in. If I ban by IP, then that means you actually can't come back in. For the record I've never left anyone banned for more than about a minute.

    Corolla Question

MR2 and AE92 trannies are basically the same setup, with different linkage. Although the MR2 SC did use a beefier transmission than the N/A and AE92. Tranny linkage is different, tranny can be made to work rather easily, or use the GT-S tranny, either way it'll fit pretty easily. If you do go...

    Model differences???

Rajunz was saying that the suspension components are the same, which they are. Also that the blocks are the same, which they are. The crossmember itself is different, but if he grabbed a crossmember and mounting brackets from an 86.5-89, everything would bolt up into his 1990.
